Play this song while you read the post :) It is such a happy beautiful song.
I know that in my last post "(Master of Miracles. Can I get an amen?) I said that I was going to be posting about mothers for the rest of the week until Mother's Day...and that kind of didn't work out exactly as I had planned. I had at least two other post ideas on this topic but I didn't have any spare time in which to write them. This post is going to be about gifts you can make or give to your moms for Mother's Day.
I know it's really last minute because Mother's Day is tomorrow...but in case you wait until the night before like me because you forget...here are a few ideas of things to do for your mom!
Breakfast in bed
Book of coupons . I've done this several times and there are so many things you can do with it!
Take her out for coffee
Make a note jar
Write a bunch of things that you love about your mom and put them in a decorated jar!Make a scrapbook of memories
How cute is that? Things you could put inside it are: Notes of encouragement, things you love about your mom, pictures you draw, movie tickets, cards, funny poems, bookmarks, gift cards, coupons, things like that!
Notebook filled with notes
Get a notebook, you can even decorate it if you want, and write notes inside it on random pages. You can print out notes or cute pictures to glue inside too. My aunt made me this once for my birthday and I absolutely LOVED it so much! It was useful because I love notebooks but it was also more personal because she took the time to find things I love and put them inside it for me too look through.
Do a show with your siblings
This is self-explanatory really, but i'll give a few ideas too
Do a show of random stuff with your sibs! Like singing, dancing, doing a skit, reading a story or poem...things like that! You don't have to be good at anything really...but if you put a little effort into it it could be really fun for your mom to watch :)
Buy her a watermelon with a bow on it
I just thought this was cute...so yeah!
Flowers
Give her flowers and she'll do one of these!
That's really all the ideas I have so imma say goodnight! Goodnight! And happy mother's day to y'all mothers. XO Charlotte
